Ensuring everyone has access to healthy food

Ensuring everyone has access to healthy food

Sawablessed (nb. 2211) started as an initiative directly after the massive Beirut explosion in 2020. After 3 days of rubble removal, the real picture came in check with more than 300,000 people not having access to nutritious food.

What started as an initiative in response to the Beirut explosion, turned into an NGO. Sawablessed is working closely with partners in Lebanon to make sure displaced people from marginalized communities are well fed with nutritious meals.

Throughout the Israeli war on Lebanon since October 2023, Sawablessed made sure that more than 5,000 displaced individuals were receiving healthy hot meals, made from common recipes.

When the Israeli aggression increased, the number of hot meals was automatically increased from 5,000 to 50,000 overnight.

Sawablessed is proudly partnering with the World Central Kitchen and World Food Programme to orchestrate exponentially and reach the maximum number of persons in need.
