Response Partners

Established in 2005 and chaired by Tanya Saadé Zeenny, the CMA CGM Foundation addresses social needs and utility. Mirroring the CMA CGM Group, a leading family-run business in transportation and logistics, the Foundation is driven by a sense of responsibility, a spirit of solidarity, and a passion for entrepreneurship. The Foundation focuses on two key missions: humanitarian aid and education for all. Facing crises, the Foundation leverages the expertise in transport and logistics solutions of the CMA CGM Group to deliver essential humanitarian supplies. It also supports access to quality education, professional training and integration, as well as educational and social innovation. Throughout the Beirut IDPs crisis, Fondation CMA CGM funded thousands of hot meals to our displaced brothers and sisters.

SPHERE Building Tomorrow - SBT is a local non-for-profit organization established in 2018 to address community needs through building the capacities of vulnerable groups. SBT operates across Lebanon to empower youth, women, men, and people with disabilities with various opportunities in livelihood and social stability sectors to promote community empowerment, resilience, and socio-economic stability. SPHERE has been supporting our operations in the Chouf area and in Beirut’s suburbs.

The Neighborhood Initiative mobilizes the full power of AUB for the public good in Ras Beirut, promoting the neighborhood’s livability, vitality, and diversity through innovative outreach activities and multidisciplinary research, aiming to encourage critical citizenship. Throughout the response of the World Central Kitchen and Sawablessed with IDPs in Beirut, The AUB Neighborhood Initiative provided us with pertinent data of more than 2,000 IDPs which led to them receiving the right kind of support.

WFP brings life-saving relief in emergencies and use food assistance to build peace, stability and prosperity for people recovering from conflict, disasters and the impact of climate change. In 2024, we partnered with WFP to distribute hot meals on IDPs as well as equip some of the kitchens.

Nusaned is a humanitarian, community-based and volunteer organization believing in collaboration for the greater good. Between Oct '23 and Oct '24 Nusaned provided us with crucial support to reach IDPs in the South of Lebanon mainly and Beirut & Mount Lebanon. Their timely assistance allowed us to maximize our response efficiently within the short window available.
